Abby Lee is the Owner and Director of the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio in Pittsburgh. In May of 1995, she opened the doors to her brand new state-of-the-art facility, renamed Reign Dance Productions. Ms. Miller is also the founder and chief choreographer of The Abby Lee Dance Company.
Ms. Miller was certified by test to teach by Dance Masters of America and received a 25 year pin. In addition, she acts as a consultant to several Public School Districts and is an advisor to Dancer Magazine. She is honored to be the Past President of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania. She is the teacher and a choreographer of fifty-three State & Regional Title Holders & Twenty-four National Title Winners!

James A. Washington, a native of Rochester, NY, began his dance training at Dance 22. He graduated cum laude from the Conservatory at Point Park University, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in dance. James has worked with and performed pieces by Robert Battle, David Parsons, Christopher Huggins, Kyle Abraham, Camille A. Brown, Sidra Bell, Peter Chu, and many others. James was ranked Top Five at the 2012 International Choreography Competition at Giordano Jazz Dance World Congress.
His choreography credits also include: Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Slippery Rock University, Cleveland School of the Arts, Houston Met Too Youth Company, and Abby Lee Dance Company. James was the 2013 male recipient of the “Brazzy Award,” given for outstanding achievement in the field of dance. James was a founding member of the August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble (“Top 25 to Watch” in 2012, Dance Magazine) under the direction of Greer Reed in Pittsburgh, PA. He has also performed as a guest artist with The Houston Metropolitan Dance Company in Houston, TX.
Finally, James joined the creative team of “The Bench: Journey into Love” as the rehearsal and staging director alongside creator Keisha Lalama. The show is in the stages of pre-production for national commercial audiences.
Jennine Wedge began her training with the Abby Lee Dance Company at the age of five. Growing up, she studied all genres of dance and was awarded many prestigious titles such as Miss Dance of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she traveled the world with Stiletto Entertainment and Holland America Cruise Lines, as an aerialist and dance captain. She then relocated to NYC to continue her dance training, where she landed a lead role in the national tour of “Revolution”.
Jennine graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She now travels as a guest instructor and judge, and loves being at home choreographing and teaching for her students at the ALDC.
Kelsey grew up competing in jazz, acrobatics, lyrical, & hip hop. She took her passion for acrobatics into the air three years ago, through in-depth training on how to properly perform, teach, and spot aerial work with Valerie Schrader, owner of Infinity Aerial in Columbus, OH. She has also trained around the country with notable aerialists such as Rachel Stewart of Esh Circus Arts in Boston, MA, Melissa Kellerman of Sailor Circus in Sarasota, FL, and Chelsea O’Brian of Zaccho Dance Theatre in San Francisco, CA.
Kelsey has over 10 years of experience teaching dance and acrobatics, most recently with Xclaim Dance Company and NorthPointe Dance in nearby Columbus, OH. Reserve your private space with Kelsey – and fly!
A native of Morgantown, WV Matt Saffron has been dancing since the age of six. He has had extensive training in tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop and has won world honors as a member of the 2000 USA Tap Dance Team. Matt has been the featured dancer and Dance Captain of the West Virginia Public Theater’s summer stock productions of Guy and Dolls, Will Rogers Follies, Oklahoma, 42nd Street, Mame, Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie and A Chorus Line.
Matt had the pleasure of touring with the 10th Anniversary Tap Dogs 2006 as a dancer and musician and performed as an original member of Tap’ d Out in their premier show in Montreal. Mr. Saffron has won numerous prestigious awards for performing as a tap dancer and has received Over-all High Score Honors and Cash Awards as a choreographer and teacher.
Dennison began her dance training at Ken and Jeans Dance Studio. She completed high school in Point Park Universities Pre-Professional Program, where she continued to study. Rachael graduated from the Conservatory at Point Park University, earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in dance, along with a minor in Business Management. Rachael moved to Wilmington, North Carolina immediately following graduation and taught at South East Dance Academy for four years. Rachael is a certified dance instructor through Dance Masters of America.
