MISSION STATEMENT
We are a non-profit Organization, formed thirty-three years ago to afford promising and dedicated young dancers the opportunity to study with the dance community’s most distinguished dance educators and to compete against other talented young people across the country! Our students have studied with great master teachers and won countless Ovetr-All High Score trophies and cash awards for their performance.
HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
The Abby Lee Dance Company is an audition only program, celebrating 27 years of victorious success this season. The ALDC is by audition only. It is a not-for-profit organization, formed 27 years ago to afford promising and dedicated young dancers the opportunity to study with the dance community’s most distinguished dance educators and to compete against other talented young people across the country.
In the past years, the company has traveled throughout Pennsylvania
and to Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, Michigan, Louisiana, Virginia, Seattle, Portland, DC, Tennessee, California, Canada the Bahamas, and monthly to New York City!
The students have studied with great master teachers and won countless Over-All High Score trophies and cash awards for performance, choreography and class work – winning over $10,000 this summer alone!
Many students have been recognized with full tuition scholarships to prestigious national dance conventions and intensive seminars. Some of our alumni are currently working in Korea, Alaska, Europe, Canada, Disney World, Tokyo, Disneyland in Japan, and Disneyland in California and of course on Broadway! These dedicated, talented young people are outstanding representatives of our community and today’s youth!
